Chalk board art!

Hey guys! I am so so so glad that it is finally weekend, school has been a little much lately, haha. Anyway my mom and I where looking at pinterest and got the idea to put chalk on our fireplace. You may be thinking, how would you do that? But our fireplace looks like this,

the black part is made of slate ( FUN FACT: slate was actually used as the original chalkboard! School children used to bring little pieces of slate to school to write on! ) And we did have fake bricks chalked on there but that had been on there for.. who knows how long! So we were thinking about adding a bible verse. We decided on Mark 12:30 which is "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" Aint that cute. So it ended up looking like this..

We got a font from Dafont.com ( but this font isn't for commercial use )
